It was showing 64-bit operating systems as one of those options in VirtualBox but you don’t know why there are only 32-bit versions listed below. There are two issues here. I've set up a few linux variants on my Windows 7 laptop. Ubuntu, Gentoo and Fedora have worked fine, but I'm having issues with Mandriva 2001.2.
I've downloaded the 32-bit ISO and attached it as the boot media. I've set up a 10 gig fixed sized disk (as with the other installations).
I've booted the installation media, selected my regional settings, and selected erase and use the full disk.
The installation program then lists the installation media, and I've selected none for the additional media to configure.
When I click install all the installation packages fail, one after another.
I've also tried including the CD-ROM but that gives other errors.
I'm using VBox 3.2.12.
Any ideas?
